Community rules and moderation. Read before posting.

Read this before you post

Short version: no harmful content, no harmful comments. Break these and you're removed from the community — serious breaches get no warning.

1

Be decent, always

No harmful content and no harmful comments. That covers harassment, hate, racism, sexual content, violence, and anything targeting another person. There is no warning system for serious breaches — you will be removed.

2

No bullying, no pile-ons

Disagreeing with someone's argument is fine. Going after the person is not. If a thread turns into a pile-on, it gets locked.

3

Someone else's work is theirs

Don't repost another student's essay, marks or feedback without their permission. Essay scores are private for a reason.

4

Keep #english-fm listenable

Anyone can queue a track. Tracks with slurs, hate content or explicit material are blocked automatically and removed manually. Abusing the queue loses you access to it.

5

No spam, no advertising, no scams

Don't sell things, don't promote other services, don't post referral links that aren't your Vault referral code.

6

Report it, don't retaliate

See something that breaks these rules? Use Report Abuse. A human reviews every report. Deliberately false reports are themselves a breach.

How moderation works

Every message is filtered on submit. Anyone can report a member with the flag icon next to their name. Yahav reviews every report personally and decides whether the member stays. Reporters are never identified.
