Yahav's VCE English Vault (the Vault, we, us) is a free study platform for VCE English students, operated by Tutors Melbourne. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not create an account or use the Vault.
The Vault is intended for secondary school students, teachers and parents. You may create an account if you are 13 or older.
If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware you are using the Vault and consents to you doing so.
You must provide accurate information when signing up, and you must not create an account on someone else's behalf or impersonate anyone.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens on your account.
One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to get around limits (for example, essay marking allowances) is not permitted and may result in all of your accounts being closed.
Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
The Vault includes community channels. When you post, comment, react or queue music, you agree not to post anything that is harmful, harassing, hateful, racist, sexual, violent, defamatory, or that bullies or targets another person.
You also agree not to share other students' work without their permission, post spam or advertising, share personal contact details of others, or attempt to disrupt the platform.
We may remove any content and suspend or permanently remove any account that breaks these rules. Serious breaches result in immediate removal without warning.
Reports of abuse are reviewed by a human moderator. Deliberately making false reports is itself a breach of these rules.
You keep ownership of the essays, posts and other content you upload. By uploading it, you give us permission to store and display it so the platform can function — for example, showing your post in a channel, or your essay to the marker you selected.
Essay scores are private to you and Yahav by default. We will only publish your essay in the essay library if you explicitly agree, and it stays anonymous unless you ask otherwise.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload whatever you upload.
The Oracle gives automated feedback on your writing. It is a study aid — not a marker, not a teacher, and not a guarantee of any result.
AI feedback can be wrong. Always check it against your own teacher's advice and the official VCAA study design.
Do not submit AI-generated text as your own work. Doing so may breach your school's and VCAA's academic integrity rules — that is your responsibility, not ours.
The Vault is provided free and as is. We do not guarantee any particular study score, ATAR, mark or outcome.
We try to keep the platform running and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that content is free of mistakes.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.
Paid one-on-one and small group tutoring is a separate service to the free Vault. Requesting tutoring through the Vault is an enquiry only — it does not create a booking or a contract.
The Vault remains free whether or not you ever take tutoring.
You can stop using the Vault and delete your account at any time from your settings.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, or if we need to stop offering the service.
We may update these Terms. If we make a significant change we will tell you in the platform. Continuing to use the Vault after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
