Daily tasks
Five short tasks a day across all three exam sections. Get a skill wrong and it keeps coming back until it sticks.
Quick daily tasks that keep coming back to your weak spots, word games built around your set texts, timed exam practice and a community studying the same exam — made by Yahav, a raw‑50 English tutor.
Made by a raw-50 tutor
Yahav scored a raw 50 in VCE English and has tutored it ever since. The Vault is everything he teaches, built so you can practise it every day.
Results from Yahav's private tutoring (Tutors Melbourne).
What's inside
Everything is built around how VCE English is assessed: analysing argument, responding to texts, and writing your own.
Five short tasks a day across all three exam sections. Get a skill wrong and it keeps coming back until it sticks.
Technique Sniper, Spelling Bee, Synonym Slice — plus Connections and Word of the Day built around set texts.
A real paper on a real clock, split into blocks that warn you before time runs out. Then feedback on your timing as well as your writing.
Same prompt as another student, 90 seconds each, judged on the four things VCE actually assesses.
Spaced repetition for the quotes, techniques and words you're about to forget — so they're still there in the exam.
Ask questions, post your wins, get sorted into a house and climb the weekly league with students sitting the same exam.
Indicative feedback on your essay against the VCE criteria, and the next thing to fix. Every account gets a daily allowance of essay feedback and Oracle questions. Not an official VCAA mark.
All of it, free. Start with today's set.

Why the Vault exists
“English is actually quite simple… but no one teaches it the right way. That's why I compiled all my knowledge into one place.”
“I went from struggling and unmotivated, to studying passionately and achieving highly.”
“The team was there every week, from the very start of her Year 12.”
“Since starting with Tutors Melbourne, my son is a lot more confident.”
From Yahav's tutoring students and their parents.
The Vault is built for students under 18, and run that way.
Yes. The Vault is free for every VCE English student. Yahav also offers paid one-on-one tutoring, but that's separate and completely optional.
VCE English and EAL students in Years 11 and 12. Year 10s getting a head start are welcome too.
You pick your texts from the current VCE list when you sign up. The skills practice works for any text, and the text-specific games are being built out one text at a time.
No. Nothing in the Vault writes your essay for you. The Oracle gives indicative feedback on what you wrote — what's working, what to fix and why — and the writing is always yours.
We keep what's needed to run your account and never sell it. You can download or delete everything from Settings, and the privacy policy spells out the rest.
